min tanaka
Min Tanaka did four performances in and around Lijiang Studio in October 2007. This trip was produced by Ryoko Kikuchi. Sound artist Nao Nishihara collaborated, and Ami Tanaka and Shiho Ishihara assisted. This one took place in the He family's courtyard:
This performance took place in the He family's barnyard. Sound artist Nao Nishihara placed speakers out of sight within the barn, and placed sounds as Tanaka moved from the barn to the pig pen.
This performance took place at the lake.
Min Tanaka's fourth performance happened in the nearby village of Changshui, somewhat more urban than Jixiang village.
